Do You Have Signs of Depression?

  • Are you feeling sad most of the time?
  • Do you find yourself sleeping too little or too much?
  • Are there changes in your appetitie?
  • Are you finding it difficult to concentrated?
  • Do you have thoughts of dying or harming yourself?
  • Do you have a plan to harm yourself?
  • How depressed do you feel on a scale of 0 to 10 with 10 being severely depressed?

If you are experiencing most of these questions, call to seek relief from depression.  It's important to understand it.  Many who see depression treatment find significant improvement.

NIMH (National Institute of Mental Health) estimates 15.8 million adults in the United States have experienced a depressive episode in 2014.  This seemingly growing number is devastating.  The individual suffers from this heaviness, loved ones are not sure how to respond, and society loses important contributers.  Learning to overcome these struggles are possible and below are some toos to help with the process. Promising news about depression is that it can be overcomed.  Social support becomes the major factor in their recovery.  Having at least one trusted friend had a significant impact.  This study was done at the University of Toronto in June, 2016.
